Edan Pinkas

Edan Pinkas is an attorney with a focus on real estate law based in New York City. He has years of industry experience and a passion for business. As an attorney, Edan Pinkas has an extensive education. He first attended Binghamton University, earning his BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Law. Following this, Edan attended Brooklyn Law School to earn his Juris Doctorate. He graduated in the top twenty-five percent of his class and earned the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. All of this hard work helped to set the foundation for Edan’s career.

Over the years, Edan Pinkas has held several professional roles. He started as a Summer Law Clerk (both at the United Jewish Appeal Office of the General Counsel and the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office) before making his way in other legal fields. Other roles Edan has held include Associate Attorney (Friedberg Greener Cohen LLP, NY);  Attorney and Co-Founding Partner (Friedberg Cohen Coleman & Pinkas LLP, NY); and lastly, Attorney and Co-Founding Partner (Friedberg Pinkas PLLC). 

Currently, Edan Pinkas is busy working at Schwartz Levine Pinkas Stark PLLC. The organization was founded in November 2021, with Edan as one of the founding members. Schwartz Levine Pinkas Stark PLLC is one of New York’s preeminent boutique real estate law practices (ranked the #4 real estate firm in 2023 by the Real Deal publication). The firm focuses on representing sellers, purchasers, developers, landlords, and tenants in all phases of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, offering plans, leasing, 1031 exchanges, Artist in Residence purchases, and development agreements. Edan was personally responsible for creating the firm’s broker representation division, which focuses on developing and negotiating broker team agreements for dozens of top brokerage teams.

Edan Pinkas has had many exciting opportunities in his professional life. For example, he has made several TV appearances and earned a few press credits. For instance, Edan can be seen on Million Dollar Listing and Bethenny & Fredrik. His quotes often make it into the NY Law Journal, NY Magazine, and The Real Deal. He has also been a featured attorney on The American Dream New York tv show. 

Despite a busy work schedule, Edan Pinkas makes time to be active in his community. He volunteers for many organizations and is always willing to help a good cause. That said, some organizations nearest to his heart include Feeding Westchester, 914 Cares, Kol Ami of Westchester, Kids Closest, and Coachmen Center. 

Apart from his professional endeavors, Edan Pinkas nurtures various pastimes and passions. His fondness for sports, including basketball, tennis, and football, is a prominent aspect of his life. Edan’s involvement in sports dates back to his high school years, during which he swam and played tennis. At present, Edan extends his passion for sports to a coaching role, dedicating his time and expertise to lead both of his son’s football teams. This dual commitment showcases Edan’s enduring connection to the world of athletics, where he not only relishes participating in and observing sports but finds fulfillment in guiding and mentoring the next generation of athletes, all while fostering invaluable life skills in teamwork and discipline.
